My name is Bethany Joy. I am 23 and have always wanted to be acting in front of a camara. Right now I'm living in Utah near Salt Lake City hoping to get some kind of break. I grew up in Southern California in a city called Riverside. While growing up I did my fair share of sports, most noted should be Gymnastics. I did gymnastics for the greater time of 9 years and perticipated in competitions up until I quit in level 6. I've done an accumalitive of 5 years in dance. That is including Tap, Ballet, and Jazz. I did cheerleading my senior year of high school on the Varsity squad. I love rock climbing and go to the gym every chance I get. Right now I'm working at sport store called Sport Chalet saving up money to get a good portfolio going.

While I don't have too much experience I have some. In 1998 I played an orphan in Anastasia. The play was at the Californian theatre in San Bernidino, CA. In 2000 I played a young girl who just wants to go on a roller coaster in a One Act play called Help! I have also been involved in high school theatre classes throughout my high school career.

Once again gymnastics. I love tumbling and recently went back to a gym to update and improve my skills. I love ballet and doing pointe. I am willing to to try just about anything within my ability.

I love Shakespeare. He was an incredible writer. One of my favorite actors would be Kenneth Branagh. He loves Shakespeare also and is great at acting out the characters in that beautiful iambic pentameter. One of my other favorites is Maggie Smith. I first remember seeing her in The Secret Garden. Sean Connery (honestly who doesn't?). Mara Wilson (I'm still waiting for her to come back!). Will Smith (yes the fresh prince.). Gordon Micheal Woolvelt (whoop. Go Canada.). Dick Van Dick (I love Mary Poppins and Diagnosis Murder). Roma Downey, because she loves singing even though she knows she's not great at it. I love that on Touched by an Angel they had an angel that couldn't sing.

Music-
So I guess I'm a little obsessed with Eminem. I only know all his lyrics. He is a great lyricsist.
The Beatles, I want to know who doesn't. Sonny and Cher. Yes I love the oldies (but goodies the 60's were the decade.). Tim McGraw, his wife Faith. Their awesome fan Taylor Swift ("Why would you want to make the very first scar?"). Katy Rose (because "I'll never be a Snowflake"). S club 7 ("looking in my memory, what did I see? Many good times you gave to me...") I'm still sad they broke up. So um yeah I'm totally obsessed with lyrics. I don't just listen to a song. I hear the song. I don't drive through town just hearing parts of a song, or just the music. I'm singing along because I know the song.

Other interests would be DDR (dance dance revolution). Fun fun game! Reading. You have to if you like Shakespeare. Going to the movies, watching television, singing (but I can't hit a note in a bucket. FYI.). Last but not least being a social butterfly!

While I love acting most parts. I feel my true calling is that of a teenager. That being said my major entertainment goal is to play a teen on a television series. I am interested in movies and would love to do an action or drama film sometime in the future.
